Socialism/Communism, the Irony
I would like to
present a theory, or even a line of reasoning:
Socialism/Communism
will never be successful.
I want to say
that the above theory is easy to understand and straight forward, I promise the
rest of this interpretation will not be.
I also caution you to read this interpretation in its entirety. If you stop halfway through, you will walk
away misinformed regarding my arguments and you will not receive the spirit of
what I am trying to say. Right off the
bat, I want to make it very clear that I am not a champion of politics. I am not a political scientist and do not
believe that I possess many facts when it comes to movements or political
positions. In fact, I don’t really know
a lot about politics in general. I am
outlining this theory because I believe the theory is based on incredible
spiritual truths. I have also never
heard this theory before so I want to put it out there, actually for a lot of
different reasons. So people can challenge
themselves, so the theory can be set as a marker for the truth, so it can
instruct and teach people, but also so that I can become accountable within my
calling. I do not believe God offers me
these trains of thought so I can ignore them, so I present them meekly, because
I believe that their purpose is beyond what I can deduct for myself. That being said, let’s begin.
Socialism/Communism
I want to
establish that in defining these terms, I will use terminology geared toward the
masses, not toward the people in power.
This is because if you ask one hundred different politicians what their
ideas are regarding these terms, you would receive one hundred different
answers. I want to go to the root of
these terms. Why do the masses believe
and trust in socialism, why do the masses believe and trust in communism? Why do they believe either of these movements
or ideologies can save them or their countries?
I will do this in an effort to go to the most natural or noble root of
these movements, so that we can dissect these things from their origin, not
from their past or even where they are now.
Anyone who is a
champion of these causes will say their pursuits are noble. The desire for Communism is for a classless
stateless society based on the people’s collective ownership of property and
production geared toward the basic “survival rights” of the people. Socialism, sometimes through the
implementation of the dictatorship of the
proletariat, becomes a means to an end toward the Communist struggle. This dictatorship
of the proletariat is why Socialism/Communism has a black eye
currently. The dictatorship of the proletariat is often viewed as the iron fist of
dictatorship wielded over the people.
Examples of this dictatorship of the
proletariat are Lenin and Stalin over the
Christian Communists
Just to make
this point cleaner, there has long been the knowledge of Christians who call
themselves “Christian Communists.” Below
I will place Bible scriptures which they believe account for their Communistic
ideals.
Acts 2:42-46
And
they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in
breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many
wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were
together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and
parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with
one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their
meat with gladness and singleness of heart…
Acts
4:32-37
And
the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither
said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but
they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of
the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither
was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands
or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And
laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man
according as he had need. And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas,
(which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the
country of Cyprus, Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at
the apostles' feet.
Now, Christian Communists
believe in a persons will to surrender themselves fully to the cause and ideals
of Communism. Thus there becomes no
“iron fist” and no dictatorship of the
proletariat necessary to align them towards any Communist end. This is where the Christian Communists would
firmly disagree with
The
Theory
I have laid some groundwork so we
can take the conversation in a different direction. I hoped to already establish that many
Communists believe their struggle is both good and noble, even if there becomes
an aggressive means to an end. Here is
my theory again:
Socialism/Communism
will never be successful.
This is true,
Socialism/Communism will never be successful.
There is a very simple reason why.
The ideals of Socialism/Communism are based upon the presumption
that the heads (governments/dictators/powers) of a Socialism/Communism movement
will surrender their power for the common good of all involved. This will never happen. No one who has power wants to surrender
it. Lord Acton said, “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power
corrupts absolutely. Great men are
almost always bad men.” There is a
reason these “great men” or these governments/powers/dictators will not
surrender their power once they have it.
Because they are sinners… and their god is a sinner who reigns over the
earth and who covets it for himself (2 Corinthians 4:4, Luke 4:5-8). This takes me to my next theory:
Socialism/Communism
will never be successful… until
Jesus comes to reign.
Jesus is the only head on earth
who can rule with an iron fist (Psalms 2:9, Revelation 2:27, 12:5, 19:15). This is because He already surrendered His
life unto death, and, in doing so, conquered the powers of this world
(Revelation 1:18). We know His
intentions are noble, and His motives true.
This is the great paradox, and actually the irony! In order for a man or government or nation to
run a perfect Communist society, the head must be a servant to all (Mark
9:35). None are currently. If the head is good, everything else trickles
down with life, but if the head is bad, everything below becomes corrupt
through deceit. It is like a tree and
its roots. If the roots are good, the
tree will have life… if the roots are bad, the tree will suffer death. In all man’s best efforts,
Socialism/Communism will never be successful because there is none to head it
up. Ironic isn’t it? The theory is good, the idea is good, the
motivation is good, the intentions are good, it’s a cause for the people, but they have no leader. It’s the great paradox, for all intent and
purpose, Socialism/Communism should work, but it never will, because only a
righteous commander and chief has the integrity to see
this process through. Man will fail, but
God will never fail.
The
It has long been said that the type
of government that will usher in the new world order and thus, the antichrist,
will be a Socialism/Communism system. I
agree. The antichrist will come to power
through flatteries, lies and promises of peace (Daniel 8:25, 11:21-41); as well
as through backdoor politics (power alliances) (Daniel 11:27). This is Satan’s time, and he will use the
antichrist as one of his instruments to usher in his final regime on planet
earth. At mid-tribulation, the
antichrist system will dominate the world through the mark of the beast:
Revelation
13:15-17
And
he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the
beast should both speak, and cause
that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and
poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their
foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the
name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Satan uses the Socialism/Communism
system to usher in his players, once they are established and everything is
set, the Socialism/Communism system is abolished and the antichrist rules with
an iron fist as god (dictator) (Daniel 11:36-37, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4). We know from the Bible that the antichrist is
not successful, that although he destroys wonderfully (Daniel 8:24), and this
the result of his Socialism/Communism/Dictatorship platform, that he will
indeed fail. In fact, the Bible tells us
had God not shortened the antichrist’s reign, the antichrist’s perfect
plan/government system would have destroyed everything (Matthew 24:22). This means that the Socialism/Communism
government is fruitful and works, but is only fruitful to the extent that
whoever happens to be running the show, will simply manifest their fruits (true
colors). Satan is a destroyer (John
10:10). Is it a coincidence that Satan
chose this type of government, and that this type of government allows him to
perform his destructions wonderfully?
Make no mistake about it, Satan’s end time reign through the
Socialism/Communism movement is a knockout punch to humanity, mostly because
Satan has nothing else to offer the world except a knockout punch. The Socialism/Communism platform becomes the
perfect vehicle to deliver that knockout punch.
Make no mistake about it, Satan will always use the best this world has
to offer in order to implement his plans.
Satan uses what works. It is not
a coincidence that Satan will ride the tidal wave of Socialism/Communism in his
quest to gain worldly power, align the masses (using lies), and finally deceive
the entire world so he can implement his mark and reign as god at
The reason Socialism/Communism
is the perfect platform to deliver humanity a knockout punch is because
Socialism/Communism is a counterfeit which ushers in Satan’s imitation of Jesus
Christ’s millennial reign. Both the
antichrist and Christ will rule with an iron fist, and both utilize methods of
Socialism/Communism to usher in their reign.
Satan actually uses the platform of Socialism/Communism to usher in his
reign, and Jesus, in building over the last 2000 years, has used the fellowship
of His Spirit (Holy Spirit) to raise up His Church to become a surrendered
servant movement. In fact, when Jesus reigns
on earth during the millennium, He, in essence, will have implemented the same
Socialism/Communism/Dictatorship reign (Psalms 2:9, Revelation 2:27, 12:5,
19:15). The Holy Spirits move over the
last 200o years becomes the Socialism/Communism build up of God’s Spiritual
Body (church), through both discipline and spiritual submission (John
16:7-11). The two forces will collide at
the battle of Armageddon, when Jesus defeats Satan and establishes His peaceful
Dictatorship over the nations and rules with an iron fist (Psalms 2:9,
Revelation 2:27, 12:5, 19:15). Because
at the core, there is nothing wrong with the Socialism/Communism/Dictatorship
platform… simply the way it is utilized and how wicked rulers exploit the
system (and the people) in order to receive the desires of their wicked
hearts. Take a gun for example. Is a gun bad? No, it is all in how the gun is
used. The reason the Antichrist destroys
wonderfully while on the Socialism/Communism/Dictatorship platform is because
that’s what Satan is, a destroyer. The
reason Jesus will reign peacefully during His Socialism/Communism/Dictatorship
platform is because He is the Prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6). If you give a gun to Satan, he will shoot
you. If you give a gun to Jesus, he
wont. Understand the difference? The system isn’t evil, the intentions and
motivations are. The irony! The Socialism/Communism/Dictatorship system
becomes the vehicle or platform that ushers in the last world leader’s rise and
fall (antichrist’s), but also becomes the system or
vehicle that will usher in Jesus Christ’s perfect millennial reign of
peace.
The
Millennial Reign of Christ
The millennial reign begins
after Jesus’ successful war effort against the antichrist at the battle of
Armageddon. At this point, the
antichrist and false prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire (Revelation
19:20) and Satan is bound for a thousand years so he can no longer deceive the
nations (Revelation 20:2-3). From here
on out, for the next thousand years, Jesus, the Prince of peace, will reign in
righteousness.
Isaiah
55:13
Instead
of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up
the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting
sign that shall not be cut off.
Isaiah
11:6-9
The
wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the
kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little
child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones
shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the
sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put
his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy
mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the
waters cover the sea.
During this time, there will be
utopia on the earth. God has engineered
this time for people to learn who He is and to understand what His true desires
are for us. It will be a time of great
peace, plenty and knowledge.
Ezekiel
47:8-12
Then
said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down
into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea,
the waters shall be healed. And it shall come to pass, that every thing that
liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and
there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come
thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river
cometh. And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from
Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their
fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding
many. But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed;
they shall be given to salt. And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this
side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not
fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new
fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the
sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for
medicine.
The leaf is medicine to heal
ignorance, medicine for the soul. God is
going to teach and heal the nations in righteousness and as they commune with
Him they will receive the knowledge which brings healing.
Joel
3:18
And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine,
and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with
waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the LORD, and shall
water the valley of Shittim.
Revelation
22:1-5 (The New Jerusalem)

he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of
the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on
either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner
of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were
for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the
throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there
shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for
the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
Daniel 7:13-14
I
saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the
clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near
before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that
all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an
everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which
shall not be destroyed.
Once the millennial kingdom is
set up, it is an everlasting kingdom.
Man will no longer reign. There
will be no more man-made governments trying to establish any type of righteousness. God will have an everlasting dominion which
will not be contested, infringed upon or even disputed (Revelation 20:9). His will be an everlasting kingdom which will
never be destroyed.
I already pointed out how over
the last 2000 years Jesus has built His body (church) through the fellowship of
His Spirit and has basically raised up a surrendered church movement (Spiritual
people). This Spiritual action/unction
over the last 2000 years mirrors the Socialism/Communism platform. The reason I align these two is because the
fellowship of the Spirit is a oneness and a communion with the God who wants to
align His people under His provision.
This is basically the root goal of Socialism/Communism. Socialism/Communism seeks to align the people
under a common header, to usher in a peaceful living environment where all are
provided for. This is why I align the
two. Over the last 2000 years the Holy
Spirit has drawn people to come into a complete unity and oneness into God’s
Spirit. Socialism/Communism seeks that
same oneness, only they will utilize the dictatorship
of the proletariat as a means to an end in order to come into that
oneness. The iron fist of Dictatorship
becomes obvious in the life of the antichrist, when he utilizes the mark of the
beast; although some would argue this is not a Dictatorship at all, but the
movement in fact still remains a Socialism/Communism movement, only at this
time, the antichrist will utilize the dictatorship
of the proletariat to weed out any who oppose his new world order, which
was introduced peacefully, to encourage unity (Daniel 8:25, 11:21-41). That being said, Jesus, during His millennial
reign, will also institute a Dictatorship where He leads the world peacefully,
yet through righteousness:
Zechariah
14:16-21
And
it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which
came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King,
the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that
whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto
Check out the verses. The horses don’t wear battle armor anymore,
they wear bells! If you are still on the
earth during the millennial reign and you ignore the head government (King)
(Jesus Christ) then your punishment will not be war or intimidation. God will withhold his blessings (rain) and
will take away your provisions (there will be plagues). This is not an effort to hurt or judge
harshly the nations round about
Capitalism
If we go the roots of
Capitalism, as we did with Socialism/Communism, we will find many noble and
honorable focuses and predictions. In
fact, in reviewing the support in favor of Capitalism, one is hard pressed to
find occasions to criticize. Economic
stability, improved standard of living, various business ventures, the ideas of
self organization giving birth to the idea of freedom so that people can
thrive. All of these ideas are noble and
inspire the question that perhaps, on a measure, capitalism can thrive. But in looking back, realizing these were
noble goals, one needs only to look forward toward Capitalism’s latter end.
Some argue that Capitalism leads
to Imperialism, which leads to Militarism.
Basically, independent ventures and the economic desires of Capitalism
will lead a nation toward Imperialistic ideals, which in turn leads a nation
toward prideful military dominance (1 Timothy 6:10). If this is true, then although the early
ideas for Capitalism seem noble, the end goal and pursuit of a nation which is
rooted in Capitalism seems to become domination based on greed.
Capitalism will never work
because Capitalism’s theory is based on a society that is free, and freedom
does not prosper. Freedom erodes the
soul and results in a nation’s blindness.
It’s a romantic notion, but it’s an ignorant notion nonetheless, based
on the belief that people who are free and prospering will do the right thing,
but often times, this is not the case at all.
In fact it is the reverse. People
who are free and prospering do as occasion serves them, and this frame
of mind often leads to oppression, exploitation and dominance. People who are free do what they believe
is right, not what is right. And
who is to tell them otherwise?
As a consequence of Adam and
Eve’s sin, we are not free. I have heard
many Christians argue, myself included, that God is not really giving them a
choice, if they choose not to serve God, they will burn in hell forever. What kind of choice is that? They argue! What
they are forgetting is that before Adam and Eve sinned, God’s desire was to
have perfect fellowship with us in the Garden of Eden. This fellowship was forfeited through
sin. Now, because of that sin, we are
not free. I agree it is hard to swallow
sometimes, but whether you like it or not, because of our ancestors, we have a
sin problem to deal with. God has
granted us salvation in Jesus, if we choose this, we will be servants of
righteousness, if not, we will be servants of sin:
Romans
6:16
Know
ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are
to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto
death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were
the servants of sin, but ye have
obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became
the servants of righteousness.
You see, once we’re free from
sin we are still servants of righteousness.
The idea of the gospel and of God is that you are a servant to
something, either sin or righteousness (John 8:32-36) and servants are not
free. Jesus said that He has come so we
might have life and that more abundantly (John 10:10). He is saying that He will free us from the
entanglement of sin so we can purely serve Him in the pleasure of
righteousness, and this service becomes life abundant. This bears witness to the millennial reign
that Jesus establishes. It will be a
righteous reign which offers us life abundant.
Jesus also talks about two roads in the New Testament… not three or four
roads, but two. The narrow way and the
broad way. The narrow way is serving
Jesus in righteousness and the broad way is serving everything else, mostly
yourself. Your service is either narrow
or it is broad, but it is service nonetheless.
People who think they’re free do not understand they are in spiritual
bondage to sin.
I have laid this groundwork so
we can truly see that freedom is a myth… and that the ideals of freedom do not
prosper the people, but further entangle and ensnare them. After the fall of Adam and Eve, the purpose
of life was not to be free, but to serve.
To make a wise choice
to settle into righteousness so you can become a servant of righteousness, thus
escaping your service toward sin. Many
people who currently think they are free are in twice as much bondage as those
who are struggling for righteousness.
Capitalism will never prosper
because freedom is a myth separate from Christ and His righteousness.
Freedom simply doesn’t
exist. The Bible never talks about a
“free will” for man. It only talks about
man’s “will.” The word, “free will” is
man’s carnal invention and will not be found in the Bible regarding man’s
choices, only regarding bondage to the law (freewill offering). Our will is not free because every choice we
make has consequences, and consequences are not free. Christianity simply invented the word in a
valiant effort to help people focus on the fact that there is a choice we must
make. But… in Christianity’s zeal, they
went overboard and now modern day Christian’s think there is a “freedom” to be
found. I assure you… no freedom ever
existed separate from the beginning (Garden of Eden). Since then, sin has entered the world and man
has two choices… and those choices both involve service. You either serve righteousness or you serve
sin. You are free to choose between the
two but you are not “free” to choose freedom simply because “freedom” does not
exist. Trying to reason it further will
become too exhaustive. Since freedom is
a myth then capitalistic pursuits (which are based on freedoms) and the fruits
that arise from those pursuits become blinding (even deceptive… based on
delusions). Societies that have
worshiped capitalistic goals and who have worked toward capitalistic ends are
now prone to becoming greatly deceived.
The reasoning is simple. If you
play a game where you follow all the rules, and all the rules don’t add up
(because they’re based on myths) then eventually, the entire game is going to
collapse like a house of cards. Also, if
you buy a book that’s full of lies, and you read it cover to cover believing it
to be true, then even if you memorize it and live strictly by it, then because
the book is based on lies, your life will deceptively mimic those lies. This is the sobering reality of many
societies today who have followed capitalistic goals and endeavors. The people geared towards those endeavors
have set themselves up to become greatly deceived because many of their beliefs
and focuses are not based on tangible truths… but on grand delusions, leading
to lies and deceptions.
My
Views
My purpose in
writing these thoughts has been and will always be to enlighten the
reader. I have no agenda, accept for a small
one (I will explain later), and I do not wish for people to judge what I have
written. I do not support the Communist
movement. I do not support the Socialist
movement. I do not support the
Capitalistic movement. I do not support
any movement. I am a Christian who
believes that God establishes the role of the government for His purposes in
much the same way He established the role of Satan for His purposes. They are both instruments He uses to perform
His bidding on earth (Romans 13:1-7, Daniel 4, Job 1,2, Isaiah 45:7). No government in itself is evil, because it
is man’s intentions ruling the various governments which become evil. It is true some governments are more accurate
with regard to a plausible end or destination, whereas others are based more on
myths and ignorance. Governments
assimilate a lot of power on earth; for this reason, God is always allowing
Himself leverage to control any government at any time. But, just because God reserves and uses this
right, doesn’t make any one government righteous or good; it is just part of
His plan to align everything according to His desire so He can judge the world
in righteousness.
That said, if I
were a government, I would seek to align my purposes toward Godly resolve and a
pure destination. I would keep a clean
heart, making sure my motives were unpolluted and I was doing all that was in
my power to rid myself of any ignorance that might eventually get in the
way. King David did this, and he
prospered. There are also many
references in the Bible which compare the reign of King David to that of Jesus’
Millennial reign (Ezekiel 34:24, 37:24-25, Jeremiah 30:9, Hosea 3:5). We must also remember, in the beginning,
Regarding my
small agenda, here it is. It is a
tragedy so many people are trusting in governments that will never
prosper. Especially during this future
end time Socialism/Communism movement, many will become empowered to follow the
masses. It has been my intention in this
interpretation to show that Jesus’ Millennial reign will be the closest thing
to utopia this earth has ever seen. I
believe many passionate people are going to kick themselves when they learn
that Jesus’ end time reign becomes everything they hoped the
Socialism/Communism reign would become, but never did. Many people who are going after
Socialism/Communism passionately (or who will in the future) will be surprised
to learn that Jesus’ Millennial reign will look a lot like Communism striped
down to its roots. Don’t trust in a
person (antichrist) or power (government) who will give you empty promises, who
will lie to you about a “common unity” that will lead you nowhere. If you trust in the antichrist and his system
he will take you. But, you will inherit
his path and his destination and you will slip straight toward his destructive
end (2 Thessalonians 2:7-12, Revelation 14:11).
You might receive the passionate fight you are looking for, but it will
never lead to a desired end, which is a Communist unity relevant for the
people. I am trying to show you that
Jesus’ end does in fact lead to that desired goal of striped down Communism
“unity”, which becomes the cause for the people. But you can’t have your cake and eat it too. If you want the fight, the antichrist will
certainly give it to you. If you want
the “unity”, Jesus will take you but you must obey the bible and receive your
utopia through Him (Though the Bible allows and admonishes self-defense in the
end times – Revelation 13:10, Daniel 11:32-35 emphasis verse 33); because you
will never get that utopia through the governments of man. You might get the fight, but you will never
obtain the desired goal of unity and peace.
That said, I
believe the government of Socialism/Communism is redemptive. I believe God will redeem it for Himself and
that His Millennial reign will closely relate to that of the perfect Communist
condition, which is a goal for the people.
It’s not that God is copying the governments of this earth and then
picking the one that suits Him best. It
is the other way around; Man/Satan has sifted what he can from the church
movement (Holy Spirit) and has tried to implement that into a government “for
the people.” It is his counterfeit
implementation of God’s spiritual church, which he believes will con the people
at large. When Jesus comes at the battle
of Armageddon, He is basically kicking Man/Satan out of His seat (2
Thessalonians 2:4). Basically saying,
“nice try, but let me show you how it’s done.”
The end goal of Communism, or actually what Communism strives to become,
will mirror the 1000 year reign (The Millennial Reign) of Jesus Christ. Again,
it’s not because God has no imagination, but actually because man has too much
of one. Nevertheless, Jesus, when His
